Office of the Complaints Commissioner Continues Public Outreach and Awareness Campaign Across the Turks and Caicos Islands
The Office of the Complaints Commissioner (OCC) continues its public outreach campaign to raise awareness of its role and services across the Turks and Caicos Islands.
In June 2026, the OCC visited Ona Glinton Primary School in Grand Turk, where staff learned about the Commission's functions and received guidance on addressing concerns. The team also traveled to South Caicos, meeting with the District Commissioner, government departments, schools, and community members to explain the complaints process and answer questions.
These outreach visits reflect the OCC's ongoing commitment to promoting good governance, increasing public awareness, and ensuring residents understand their rights and how to access the Commission's independent services when concerns arise about government departments or statutory bodies.
